Kadampa Buddhism in Buxton
20th Birthday Celebration
Saturday 9 September 2017, 1.00 - 4.00pm

MORE INFORMATION

Samudra Buddhist Centre is twenty years old this summer and we plan to mark the passing of this milestone by this special event. Throughout this time, hundreds of people in the High Peak and surrounding area have attended meditation classes and been able to discover for themselves the practical benefit of understanding and working with this "ancient technology" in their daily lives.

The lineage of Buddhist teachings in this area stretches back even further in time and includes significant events and teachers. Please join us as we look back with appreciation to our beginnings and share our plans to ensure that this precious advice remains accessible to future generations.

The party will be held at the Palace Hotel in Buxton where our kind spiritual guide Geshe Kelsang Gyatso once gave a teaching and will be a wonderful opportunity to meet up with friends old and new, so please mark the date in your diary and let us know if you would like to come along.
