Meditation is a method to develop positivity of mind and bring peace to our mind, which everyone can learn and practice. This enlightening series focused on health will help us develop insight and experience of practical ways to deal with issues of health, as well as a range of effective meditations to use. These drop in classes are held in Buxton, Glossop, Leek, Macclesfield (new), Prestbury and Whaley Bridge. All meditation classes except Macclesfield are £6 (£5 concession). We also offer a series discount.

Silence is Golden Retreat
Clear Mind Meditations

All sessions guided by Gen Kelsang Sangye, Samudra Centre's Resident Teacher.

In this weekend retreat we will engage in simple guided meditations, helping us to experience mental clarity and inner peace by meditating on our mind itself. Together they lead us on a voyage of exploration of our mind through which we can discover our own inner potential for lasting peace and happiness.

A chance to taste for yourself the special benefits of silence in this silent retreat and free your mind from the demands of your busy daily life in Tara Centre's beautiful environment. Everyone is welcome. Suitable for both beginners and those with experience.

The weekend will start with an introductory talk with Gen Sangye on Friday 24th November at 7.30pm and will end after lunch on Sunday 26th November. Each meditation session will last approximately one hour and fifteen minutes.

The evening will begin with a relaxing meditation guided by Gen Sangye and will be followed by a tasty three course Japanese inspired vegetarian meal. After dining we will have the good fortune to enjoy some delightful music from an accomplished visiting flautist Jenna.
